Milling

  • Technical Specifications and Operational Racing:

    • X-axis travel: 1800 mm

    • Y-axis travel: 850 mm

    • Z-axis travel: 800 mm

    • Head configuration: Manually positioned spindle head (operating as 4° steerable axis) for inclined machining and undercuts.

    • Numerical Control: SELCA

    The strengths of this setup:

    • Optical Rows of Measurement: Despite the age and historicity of the machine, it is equipped with optical rows directed on all axes. This system perfectly corrects any mechanical play or thermal expansion, ensuring consistent millesimal positioning accuracy over time.

    • Geometric Flexibility (Orientable Head): The manually adjustable spindle head allows you to tilt the milling axis. This allows us to perform complex machining on angled faces without having to disassemble and re-plate the part, eliminating repositioning errors.

    • Generous Working Area: With a good 1800 mm of stroke on the X-axis, the machine is our reference point for roughing and finishing large plates, bases and heavy mechanical carpentry.
